Parvizi Surgical Innovation, LLC (PSI) was founded on the core principals of improving patient outcomes with novel and innovative technologies that can often affect a patient, their families, a healthcare provider, and the healthcare system altogether. PSI focuses on: research & development, product testing & refinement, establishing manufacturing pathways with partners, regulatory activities, and clinical trials while securing intellectual property (i.e. patents, trademarks, and copyrights) for pre-clinical and clinical use.

Our Medical Device group is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of:

Project Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Reporting to senior management, you will independently lead and execute a range of projects, contributing directly to innovations in healthcare.

The Project Manager position requires focus on coordinating and delivering projects on-time within budget and scope. You will also be accountable for building project plans, working with internal and external engineers and quality teams, aligning manufacturing partners, managing timelines, strategic planning, and team management to drive corporate objectives. Additionally, you will also work with our business partners in defining and monitoring project requirements.

Main tasks:

  • Develop technical drawings using SolidWorks CAD
  • Maintain and develop bill of materials, design specifications, and quality documents
  • Define organizational plans, requirements, and goals
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for internal staff and clients
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Ensure that projects within the PSI portfolio are prioritized and effectively managed
  • Coordinate with internal team members, partners, vendors, and suppliers to maintain a high level of communication to support accurate project reporting
  • Accountable for key performance metrics, including, but not limited to, schedule performance, cost performance, resource management, and metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience and Recommendations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical with some experience in electrical design), or related field
  • Strong CAD and mechanical design background (Solidworks preferred or equivalent)
  • Project management experience in the medical device industry preferred
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems preferred (medical device optional)
  • Understanding Design History File (DHF) and ISO requirements (Preferably 13485 and 9001).
  • Proven track record in managing projects
